A "local" Board of Directors and a "local" General Manager guarantees our Principals the immediate and preferential access to the business, governmental and operational contacts essential in making a Principal's interests grow. We know them and they know us. Furthermore, both the ownership and the management of the Agency are "on location" in Panama guaranteeing that the business is serving our customers in the most efficient and effective possible way.

Our management is active in the local and international community participating in many local institutions which allows our group to cover all market segments and to stay abreast of all economic and political developments. We are members of Panama's Chamber of Shipping, the Panamanian Chamber of Commerce, the German Chamber of Commerce, Panama Airline Association and other community service organizations.

Ricardo Lince B.

He graduated with a Computer Science title in Florida State University, USA in 1985.

In 1989, he started his career in the maritime field working for Hapag-Lloyd in Hamburg and then returned to Panama to join his family business: Agencias Continental. In 1993, he returned to Germany as an apprentice in the Freight Forwarding area with LexzauScharbau& Co.

In 2005 he continued his education and received following MBA's titles in 2007:


Lourdes Lince B

Graduated with honors with a title of Business Administration in Gwynedd Mercy College, USA in 1984. She started her professional career in the insurance industry where she stayed until joining Agencias Continental in 1990.
In addition, she obtained the degrees in Finance at APEDE (Panama, 1990 - Top of her class) and Universidad de la Sabana (Colombia, 2005).
She has participated as director in Banking boards and actively participates as board member for other companies in the maritime industry.

Pacifico Plata III
Advisor – Executive Board (Since 2001)

BS in Industrial Administration from Iowa State University, advanced management studies at Babson College.
BS in Industrial Administration from Iowa State University, advanced management studies at Babson College. Experienced in Public Accounting - 5 years with KPMG-Panama).

He also has ample multinational, multicultural work experience having worked for The Gillette Co. in Panama and Central America, Canada, US, Dominican Republic and Mexico. Within this latter experience, he engaged not only in responsibilities for the financial area, but also for sales, marketing and human resource management, as well as more than 10 years of experience in General Management positions.

For the past ten years, he has been a Management Consultant focused on strategic planning, organizational structures and financial planning and debt restructuring. Pacifico has also been involved in Panama´s Chamber of Commerce and in the National Council for the Private Enterprise (CoNEP).


Yorlenis Ho

Comptroller (since 2016)

Joined Agencias Continental in 2016.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2011 specialized in Taxes and Business Administration.  Graduated in Bilingual Accounting from the University of Panama (2010) and successfully achieved an MBA at the American University (2015).

She is also an active member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants of Panama where she attends courses and seminars.



Carlos E. De Leon

Maritime Business Administration at the Universidad Latinoamericana de Comercio Exterior, Panama (2004).
Participated in seminars of Marketing of Services at Aden Business School, Panama (2006) and Great Leaders by Franklin Kovey (2011).

Accounting skills obtained in I.P.F.E.L. International (2001).

Started in the Maritime field working as seafarer from 1983 to 1987. He then worked as boarding officer for a local agency and joined the group in 1992.


Vielka Vega

Commercial Manager (Since 2007)
Member of the Steering Committee

M.A. degree in Maritime Business Administration and a B.A. degree in Marketing from The Latin-American Science & Technology University (U.L.A.C.I.T.) in Panama.

Over twenty years of industry experience as a Maritime Industry Client Relation Strategist. She also holds several post-graduate certifications and seminars in the areas of Sales, Marketing, and Maritime Business Management.

Prior to joining the group, she held Sales Executive roles for important and worldwide recognized shipping lines and agents.
She is currently a member of both The Maritime Executive Network and The Shipping Professional Network (SPNL).
